Performance & Caching

A fast site ranks better and converts better, so performance is handled on several levels.

The caches

• Full-page cache. Rendered HTML is stored and served instantly, with a time-to-live you set. It is locale-aware and skips logged-in or personalised views.
• Calculation cache. Repeated calculations are cached so they do not call the API again.
• Static assets are served with gzip and far-future caching, and their URLs change automatically when a file changes, so updates are picked up without stale files.

Clearing the cache

After you change content, purge the page cache from Admin, Cache. Purging simply re-renders pages from the database on the next visit; it does not call the AI and costs nothing. Performance settings also include the canonical-URL redirect, which sends all traffic to your one configured address to consolidate your SEO.
