Staff Roles & Users
Under Users you create accounts and assign roles, so each person has the access that fits their job and no more.
The roles
- Admin. Full access to everything.
- Author. Access to the Blog and Media library only. This is ideal for writers, because they can publish content without seeing your API key, billing or settings.
- Member. A normal visitor account (used with the optional premium side).
- Read-only demo admin. Can explore the entire dashboard but cannot change anything, which is perfect for showing the admin to a prospective buyer when you resell.
Give each team member the narrowest role that lets them do their work. It keeps sensitive settings safe and your site easier to manage.
