Short Links & Click Analytics

Admin → Short Links gives every page on your site a short link of the form /l/abc123. It is easier to paste into a message, a video description or a printed flyer than a long calculator URL, and unlike a third-party shortener the link stays on your own domain, so the click and the trust stay with your brand.

Using them

• Open Admin → Short Links to see the list and copy any code.
• New pages are picked up automatically, so the list keeps itself current as you publish more calculators or posts.
• You can also create one manually for a specific destination.

What the click analytics tell you

• Today and total clicks for each link.
• Last click, so you can see whether a campaign is still alive.
• A recent trend, to spot which links are picking up.
• By source, which groups clicks by where they came from, so you can tell a link shared on one network from the same link in a newsletter.

Use one short link per place you promote something. Then the by-source breakdown tells you which channel is actually worth your time.
