Hosting & Requirements

The white-label site is a standard PHP application with no unusual dependencies, so it runs comfortably on almost any modern web host, including inexpensive shared hosting. The API and the WordPress plugins do not need their own hosting beyond the site you already have, because they call the NumroQ API over the internet.

What the white-label site needs

  • PHP 8.0 or newer with the common extensions: PDO MySQL, GD or Imagick (for image optimization), cURL, mbstring and OpenSSL.
  • MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB for the database.
  • HTTPS on your domain. A free Let's Encrypt certificate is fine, and most hosts issue one automatically.
  • A cron job that can call a URL on a schedule (at least hourly). This runs background work such as AI blog posts, the daily horoscopes, the newsletter digest, translations and backups. If your host has no cron, the site also has a built-in fallback scheduler that runs jobs on ordinary visitor traffic, so it still works.

Recommended setup

A small shared hosting plan is enough to launch. As traffic grows you can move to a larger plan without changing the application. Point your domain at the package, run the short setup wizard, and you are live. For the canonical address, enter it exactly during setup (https, the host you want to rank, no trailing slash), because that single value drives every canonical tag, your sitemap and your social previews.

Get your site online, 20% off

The white-label site runs on any standard PHP 8 and MySQL shared hosting. We recommend Hostinger: fast, affordable, and it works out of the box (cPanel or hPanel) with one-click cron and free SSL.

Do I need a VPS or dedicated server?

No. Standard shared hosting is enough for most sites. A larger plan helps only once you have significant traffic.

Does it work on Hostinger?

Yes, it is designed to work out of the box on Hostinger shared hosting, including a root forwarder for the document root and one-click cron.
