The calculators are not working
Calculators call the NumroQ API, so a failure is either the connection to it, your key, an allowance, or the API itself. Work through these in order.
1. Your API key
Check in Admin, Settings that a key is present and correct. A missing or wrong key gives an immediate refusal rather than a long wait, so if results fail instantly this is the first place to look.
2. Your monthly allowance
Every plan includes a number of calls per month. When it runs out, visitors see a neutral message saying the calculator is unavailable and the dashboard warns you. Nothing is broken; the allowance needs topping up or the month needs to turn.
3. The per-visitor limits
There are two, and they are separate. A burst limit caps requests per minute from one address, to stop scraping. A daily allowance caps how many calculations a guest gets. Hitting either produces a refusal that looks like a fault but is not, and it is easy to trip while testing repeatedly yourself.
4. A spinner that never stops
If the wheel turns forever rather than showing an error, the request is not coming back at all. That is not the same as a failure, and it points at the connection rather than the answer. See The site is slow, or pages hang.
One calculator fails but the others work.
That points at the input rather than the connection. Check the fields that tool needs, especially dates and any birth time or place, and try the same values on the live NumroQ site to see whether it is the tool or the data.
Results appear in English on a translated page.
Interpretive text is translated in the background and cached per language, so the first visitor to a given result may see the English original while it is being translated. It fills in shortly. If it never does, check that the AI writer is configured and has credit.
